Paris weekend getaway

How I would love to spend this weekend in Paris! Imagine walking along the Seine, just enjoying life. Whenever I travel, I'm always almost as exited about the hotel I'm staying at, as I am about the destination. I love staying at hotels. I always find a lot of inspiration, and end up going home with at least a hundred different design ideas. Next time I'm in Paris I would love to stay at the Hotel Pulitzer. I somehow stumbled over their website, and I absolutely fell in love with their elegant but yet cosy and inviting design. They've managed to combine antique objects with a more industrial and modern look, and I think it looks stunning.

Dream Camera

Today I want to show you some photos taken by the talented Dottie Brackett. Dottie is a lawyer during the day, taking pictures whenever she has a spare minute. Her blog Dream Camera is a rare gem that I'm happy to have discovered. The photos of the Ferris wheel have a magical glow, which reminds me of childhood.

Ladder Love

Ladders are one of my favourite things. They are beautiful in a simple, charming way, and yet so practical. I found these lovely pictures at houseandhome.com. House & Home is Canada's #1 design and decorating magazine. Their website is like heaven for those with an interest for interior design, a never-ending source of inspirational pictures.

White Owl

I love the eye-catching necklaces and earings from White Owl. Somehow I stumbled over their web shop, and it was love at first sight. I can't stop thinking about them. The materials they use are rescued from estate sales, flea markets and even their own Grandmother! I love the vintage feel, but with a modern twist. White Owl are now celebrating their 3 year anniversary on Etsy, and are therefore celebrating with a giveaway. Go to their Facebook fan page or their blog to check it out.

Inspiration from Tine K Home

This is my first post in this blog and I'm so excited to get started, so here goes. I'm dying to show you these wonderful pictures from Tine K Home. Her new Spring/Summer catalogue is as amazing as you can imagine, and the pictures are so inspiring. They're like pieces of art. I'm even thinking of framing some of them and hanging them on my walls. This is just a glimpse from the catalogue, but you can see the entire catalogue here.
