A sneak peak

Yesterday I received an email from Sebastian Gokah & Josefine Lilljegren, the founders of the Swedish creative studio, studio esinam, with a sneak peak of their new press images. I know how much you love sneak peaks, so I'm happy to say that I was allowed to share them with you. Beautiful styling by Sarah Widman as always!

Absent

Sometimes things happen in life. Things that can not be predicted. Things that turn your whole life upside down. That's why I've been absent from the blog. I needed some time to myself. But sometimes when you're feeling lonely, it helps to look at some beautiful pictures and listen to your favorite music. At the moment I'm listening to Anais Mitchell and looking through albums at Pinterest. It helps. At least for the moment.

French Connection spring 2014

I love the soft industrial feeling of French Connection's spring collection. The white-washed brick walls and the round bistro table, gives the space character and charm. Just the way I like it!

Talented people - Linn Warme

Whenever I find a new, young talent, I'm always super excited. And believe me, I know how hard it is for people to notice your work. So when I received an email from the talented Swedish artist and pattern designer, Linn Warme, I became curious about her work. Her first ever wallpaper collection has just been released, and I think it looks beautiful. I think we will see more from this talentad woman in the future! Just remember who said it first! You can see her wallpapers at Rebelwalls.

Kitchens from Designa

Through a link on the blog Eye on details, I found a kitchen catalog from the danish company Designa. Gorgeous styling, and beautiful and simple kitchens, just the way I like it.

Inspiration

I don't know if it's just me, but I'm having a hard time finding inspiration at the moment. Maybe it's just because I have a lot on my mind right now. It's only a few months left until I move to Stockholm. The same week as I'm graduating from my education by the way. So at the moment I'm juggling thoughts about new furniture, applications for jobs and trying to cram in the final theories for the final exam. Anyway, since I currently live in a studio flat, and my boyfriend rents fully furnished, we have to buy a whole lot of new furniture. It's so hard to know where to start, so I think I'll start with the sofa, and dining furniture as these, plus a bed, are the first thing we'll need. The thing is that I love so many different styles. I love black and white minimalism. I love the more Nordic feel, with grey combined with light wood. And sometimes I even like a more luxurious interior, much like a hotel lobby. So what direction should I take... I'm getting mental! And if that weren't enough, I have to choose what to do with the walls. Leave them white or start painting, even if it's newly built and the walls have just been painted? Anyway, I'll give you some examples of the direction in which I'm thinking interior wise at the moment. If you have any good ideas, let me know! I need all the help I can get! =)
